Audible Announces Gracie Oddie‑James’ Original Drama Heathcliff

Audible has unveiled Heathcliff, a bold new audio drama written by Gracie Oddie‑James, exploring the untold years of Emily Brontë’s iconic anti‑hero. This Audible Original promises to reimagine the character’s journey during the mysterious three-year absence from Wuthering Heights.

Produced by Brock Media and directed by Mahalia Belo, the drama features immersive Dolby Atmos sound design and an original score by Gaika Tavares. The cast includes Gracie Oddie‑James herself.

The story follows Heathcliff as he flees the Yorkshire moors for London after Cathy’s rejection. There, he encounters historical figures like Sir Francis Barber and courtesan Rhoda Pascal, navigating themes of love, belonging, and obsession—while haunted by Cathy’s ghost and his own darker impulses.
