The Tattooist of Auschwitz

Based on the novel of the same name, The Tattooist of Auschwitz starts tonight on Sky Atlantic and NowTV. This powerful real-life story follows Lale Sokolov (younger version played by Jonah Hauer-King), a Jewish prisoner who was tasked with tattooing ID numbers on prisoners’ arms in the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp during World War II. When tasked with tattooing female prisoners, Lale meets Gita, leading to a love that defies the horrors that surround them.
