We are proud to be present our newest signing, Alex Macqueen.
Alex Macqueen is a BAFTA nominated actor, best known for his role as Neil’s Dad in the Channel 4 comedy The Inbetweeners, and Julius Nicholson in the BBC’s The Thick Of It.
His TV credits include Julia Davis’s Hunderby (Sky Atlantic) and Sally 4 Ever (HBO), Shane Meadows’s This Is England 88, Peaky Blinders (BBC), Black Mirror (Channel 4), Becoming Elizabeth (Lionsgate) and Hijack (Apple TV). He has also made a variety of guest appearances, in family favourites that include, Peep Show, Miranda, Outnumbered and the IT Crowd.
His film credits include Paulo Sorrentino’s Youth opposite Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh’s All Is True, opposite Ian McKellen, Jesse Armstrong’s Downhill, opposite Will Ferrell; and the Downton Abbey Movie, opposite Dominic West and Hugh Bonneville. He will also soon be starring alongside Helena Bonham Carter in Agatha Christie’s The Seven Dials Mystery for Netflix.
Alex is also an experienced voice actor, with a career spanning the breadth of the audio world. He is set to star in Richard Curtis’ new animated feature That Christmas. His audio credits also include BBC Radio 4 comedy drama Life in London (2021), the hit BBC Radio 4 comedy Hut 33 (2018), BBC radio comedy Buy Me Up TV (2024) and Big Finish audio drama Doctor Who UNIT Dominion. He has also narrated a range of audiobook titles, including The Cummings Files: Confidential, and Stardust.
